Cast Clean, Rolled Consistent

Our MS billets are produced from in-house sponge iron and selected scrap, melted in 4×9 MT induction furnaces and refined through a 20 TPH ladle refining furnace (LRF) before continuous casting. The result is a low-inclusion, chemically consistent billet that rolls clean, shift after shift.

With a design capacity of 1,08,000 TPA, our billets feed re-rollers and TMT manufacturers who depend on a dependable, traceable feedstock. Every heat is spectrometer-verified and cast to tight dimensional tolerance.

03 Key Features & Benefits

Why Re-rollers Choose Our Billets

Six advantages that go beyond price — from integrated sourcing to heat-level traceability.

01

Integrated Feedstock

Cast from our own high-metallization sponge iron — a controlled, in-house charge that keeps chemistry consistent from heat to heat.

02

LRF Refined

20 TPH ladle refining removes inclusions and fine-tunes chemistry before casting, for a cleaner billet that rolls without defects.

03

Every Heat Tested

Spectrometer chemical analysis on every heat — not sample lots. Composition certified before the billet leaves the melt shop.

04

Tight Tolerances

Continuous casting to consistent section size and internal soundness — dependable feedstock for high-yield rolling.

05

Captive Power Backed

20 MW captive generation keeps the furnaces melting on schedule — stable production and dependable delivery windows.

06

Full Traceability

Heat-wise documentation from charge to dispatch — every billet traceable back to its heat number and test report.

04 Manufacturing Process

How We Make

From Charge To Cast Billet

A five-stage steelmaking route that melts a controlled charge, refines it in the ladle, and continuously casts it into low-inclusion billets.

01/ 05
01

Charge Preparation

In-house sponge iron and selected scrap are proportioned per heat to target the desired chemistry, balancing metallization, carbon and residuals.

Input Stage
  • Sponge iron + selected scrap
  • Charge calculated per heat
02

Melting In Induction Furnaces

The charge is melted in 4×9 MT induction furnaces. Temperature and chemistry are monitored throughout the melt to prepare a clean, homogeneous bath.

Core Process
  • 4 × 9 MT induction furnaces
  • Continuous bath monitoring
03

Ladle Refining (LRF)

Molten steel is transferred to a 20 TPH LRF where inclusions are removed and chemistry is fine-tuned to specification before casting.

Refining
  • 20 TPH ladle refining
  • Inclusion removal + trim
04

Continuous Casting

Refined steel is continuously cast into billets of consistent section size, with controlled cooling to preserve internal soundness.

Casting
  • Continuous casting machine
  • 100 × 100 / 125 × 125 mm
05

Testing & Dispatch

Every heat is spectrometer-verified and each billet checked for dimension before certified product is bundled and dispatched.

Output Stage
  • Spectrometer tested
  • Heat-wise certification

05 Quality & Safety

Zero Compromise

Tested, Traced, Accountable

Quality control at BR Steel is a system, not a check. Every heat of steel passes through multiple verification stages before it is cast, and every billet before it leaves our facility.
